Did you Know? – Group Study Rooms

The library has a total of eight Group Study Rooms  which can be used for group work and discussion. They are located on Levels 4, 6, 8 & 9  and can be used by groups of three and above. Rooms are open throughout the year and are all fully wireless enabled.

Advance booking is not always necessary although during busy periods we do advise that you book in advance as groups with bookings will take priority . This can be done at the Welcome Desk on Level 2 during staffed hours. You can book up to two weeks in advance and all we need from you is to see your valid University of Glasgow student ID Card.  Bookings can be made for a maximum of three hours per day for any one group. You will be given a receipt with details of your booking. Hold on to this as it is your proof if the room is already occupied when you turn up.

University staff can use the rooms for teaching when this involves use of Library materials. To arrange a booking please contact Enquiries with details of number of students and time required.. The use of other equipment such as laptops, flip charts and over head projectors must be arranged through Audio Visual- IT . Staff can reserve the rooms for non-teaching purposes during vacations.
