Today marks the end of our graduation series of blog posts, as the final group of newly graduated students will be receiving their scrolls at 2pm at the Crichton Memorial Church, Dumfries Campus. We’ve been looking back at students who graduated 100 years ago, and have found out about the lives of many inspiring students on our University Story page. Students such as Dagmar Florence Curjel, who worked as a surgeon during the war, and then later worked on improving child nutrition in India. We’ve also heard about international students such as Taizo Shoda who went onto become a leading figure in the Japanese engineering industry. Stories such as these add to the rich history of the University of Glasgow.
We’re sure that our 2016 graduates will contribute inspiring stories of their own in the future!
