Please note that the front line service desks, on Level 3 of the Library, will be closed for staff training on Wednesday 17th February. You can use self-service machines to borrow and return books on that day. If you have any questions for staff then please come to the desks before Wednesday 17th, or on Thursday 18th when normal staff service will resume.
No fines will apply for 1 week or longer loan books due back on that day, however fine rates WILL apply for 4 and 24 hour books from the High Demand Collection, as this is a fully self-service area.
Books on the hold shelf will be made available for an extra day so that you don’t miss out your full seven day collection period.
This does not affect the security desk at the entrance, or the Cafe, which will operate as normal.
