We are delighted to announce that the Library has recently purchased a new digital resource, Loeb Classical Library which aims to make Greek and Latin literature accessible to the broadest range of readers in an easily accessible e- format. The database, hosted by Harvard University Press, offers an interconnected, fully searchable virtual library of the most important Greek and Latin literature. Greek and Latin Classical heritage is represented here with up-to-date texts and accurate English translations which include epic and lyric poetry; tragedy and comedy; history, travel, philosophy, and oratory; the great medical writers and mathematicians; and the early Christian writers.

More than 520 volumes of Latin, Greek, and English texts are available from a modern interface, which allows readers to browse, search, bookmark, annotate, and share content.

Loeb Classical Library can be accessed from the Database link on the Library Home Page. It is available to all Students and staff on and off campus using your GUID.
