Changes to the temporary entrance and exit at University of Glasgow Library

If you’ve been using the Library over the summer, you’ll know that we have a temporary entrance while levels 1 and 2 are being refurbished. The entrance is to the right of the usual one, near the bike racks.

From Monday 7th September we will open up a temporary exit, to make it easier for staff and students to get in and out of the building. The new exit will be right across from the entrance in the Library Cafe and will open out in front of the Adam Smith Building at the back of the Library.

The new entrance and exit will be clearly signposted and we’ll have staff in the cafe to help direct you if you’re not sure where to go. These arrangements will be in place until the refurbishment of level 2 is completed, and we’ll keep you up to date with developments as the project progresses.

If you’d like more information or advice about the temporary arrangements and the project, you can check our Library Refurbishment Project page http://www.gla.ac.uk/services/library/refurbishmentproject/ or email library@lib.gla.ac.uk
