When? Friday 24th July, 11am to 3:30pm

Where? Reigart Suite, Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life, Heritage Way, Coatbridge ML5 1QD

The STICK Machine Tools Project re-focuses Scottish engineering collections to unlock their potential as an accessible resource for understanding basic engineering principles and processes.

The project has made use of some of our Scottish Business collections including the firm of Fullerton, Hodgart & Barclay Ltd.

In 1838 the firm of Fullerton & Craig was established at the Vulcan Foundry, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland, specialising chiefly in the construction of mine winding equipment, compressors, pumps, coolers and evaporators. In 1920 the business was incorporated under the name Fullerton, Hodgart & Barclay Ltd and continued in the same line of business.
