Phew.. We’ve made it through our first week on Level 3, our temporary home for the coming months, and what a busy week it’s been. Actually, what a busy few months! The team have worked incredibly hard, with support and help from our colleagues, to clear out the old service space on Level 2 (no mean feat when you consider we’ve been there for over 25 years) and prepare to deliver services from this new area.
As you can see it’s been hard work but we’re starting to settle in, and things are taking shape! So please bear with us throughout this period of transition – we’re tweaking things as we go along, adapting to our new environment, and trying different ways of working in order to ensure that service continues to run as smoothly as possible.
Follow the signs to find us on Level 3, for all of the services that you’re used to getting on Level 2:
- Self-service check out and check in area – café entrance close to the print newspapers.
- Welcome Desk for general enquiries – opposite the central lifts, a few steps away from the self-service area.
- Library Services desk for queries about borrowing, returning, inter library loans & fine – in LearnLab, around the corner from Welcome Desk, next to the big green printer unit.
