Ingenious Impressions: Glasgow Incunabula Project launch on 19 March

You have seen the exhibition*, now come and hear about the background to Ingenious Impressions.

In association with the English Language series of research seminars, Special Collections is holding a talk and drop in display of books to promote the Glasgow Incunabula Project on Thursday 19 March from 4.15 pm onwards.

So if you are curious about the books in the exhibition and simply want to find out more, or if you are a student with a desire to work with early printed material looking for research inspiration, do come along. All welcome! Wine will be served.

What you need to know

Special Collections, level 12 of University Library

Thursday 19 March
4.15: talk on the project by Julie Gardham in the Henry Heaney seminar room
5.15-7pm: drop in display of incunabula in the reading room, with opportunities to talk to staff informally about the books and project

Is booking necessary?
No – just turn up on the night – either to the talk or display or both, it’s up to you!
