Have you had an article accepted for publication?
To comply with a wide range of funder and legislative requirements the library must be notified of all articles produced at the University of Glasgow when they are accepted for publication.
The publisher of your article may allow you to make it publicly available free of charge.
RCUK and Wellcome Trust provide additional funding to the library to pay for open access where necessary. This applies to studentships too – several students have already had their open access fees paid.
The library will check open access options for you.
As soon as your article is accepted please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org stating the name of the journal, article title, funder name, and award reference numbers where relevant.
Don’t wait till after the article is published as it may be too late to organise open access at that stage.
