Calling all students! Fancy winning a £200 cash prize?

BlogathonWordle

Calling all current University of Glasgow students: Did you make use of Special Collections or Archives over the past year? We know that many of you did and we would like to hear from you!

Write a short blog on something that you found interesting in either Special Collections or Archives and submit it to the Blogathon for your chance to win

a £200 cash prize!

Thanks to the Friends of Glasgow University Library, there are 2  prizes of £200 each to go for:

  • One for best post, as judged by a panel, including Special Collections and Archives staff
  • One for most liked post, as judged by the number of likes on a post by the closing date.

So take your notes/essay/dissertation work, write a short piece, add some pics and send it in!

The Blogathon is open until 30 June, but get your entry in now to generate those all important likes…

As well as images from our webpages, you could also check out our Flickr for images from Special Collections or Archives  that you could use to illustrate your post.

No images online? You can also make use of self service photography in Special Collections and Archives, so do come in and see us and take your own!
