Students: join the Sp Coll and Archives blogathon!

Swept away by Special Collections? Awed by Archives?

If you have been inspired by our collections, now is your chance to share it with the world!

Books on shelves

We are looking for current University of Glasgow students to contribute posts on Special Collections and Archives material for the Library blog. So if you have been working with our primary resources for your course work, research or dissertation, now is the time to tell us all about it.

If your post is published, then you will be in with a chance to win a cash prize of £200!

The blogathon will run from 1 April to 30 June 2013, so you have three months to send your blog entries to library-blogathon@glasgow.ac.uk along with your contact details (including your student number).

There will be two prizes of £200, generously donated by the Friends of Glasgow University Library:

  • One prize of £200 for the blog which attracts the most likes by 30 June 2013 (the sooner you get your entry in, the better …)
  • One prize of £200 for the blog which we like best (decision of the judging panel is final!)

For all the rules and regulations and guidance on how to submit, visit the Friends of Glasgow University Library blogathon page.
