I have now completed two of my placements within Archive Services, the first in Document Delivery and the second as Searchroom Assistant. I’ve found Document Delivery to be a balancing act. Archive Services will be reopening on Monday 8th March. We look forward to welcoming staff, students and members of the public to our new visitor facilities (click here for the latest pictures), but would encourage all potential visitors to make an appointment as we expect demand to be heavy.

The new Library cafe is opening on Monday 26 October. Opening hours are 12:00-20:00 Monday to Friday and 12:00-17:00 at the weekends. The vending machines from level 2 have already moved and are now in place in the new area on level 3.
