Today, the Design Museum’s Extraordinary Stories about Ordinary Things exhibition opens in London.
On display as part of the exhibition is a design sketch from the Stoddard-Templeton Archive by Marion Dorn Ltd. Dorn was an influential interior and textile designer, and this sketch dates from the 1930s when she was based in London.
This design was one of our Friday Gems from the Stoddard-Templeton Archive, so you can read more about the design here. Before going on loan, we completed conservation treatment which has greatly improved the sketch’s condition.
If you are planning a visit to London in the next few months, you might want to pop in to see the design on display.
