Map Sale in the library

There is currently a map sale taking place on level 7 of the library.

Ordnance Survey First Edition County Series Lanarkshire, Sheet 6 of Glasgow 1858

Following the recent acquisition of new map stock we have a significant number of superceded editions from the Ordnance Survey Landrangers and Explorers series available for sale at £2.00 each. To find the sheet numbers you’re interested in please check the online indexes available from the Ordnance Survey website**; OS Explorer map index and OS Landranger map index.

In addition, we have a large range of duplicate maps available for sale including those listed below and a lot more besides! Sheet prices vary between £2 to a maximum of £10 per sheet.

First Edition County Series published 1843 1882, published in the 1800s*
Second Edition County Series published 1850s, published between 1850s-1950s*
Glasgow Town Plan published 1859 1894, published 1859-1894*
