The Library now has trial access to the Oxford Scholarship Online e-books resource, providing access to thousands of books in full text and we need your feedback – let us know what you think of it.
Subjects covered are:
- Business & Management
- Classical Studies
- Economics & Finance
- History
- Law
- Literature
- Political Science
- Psychology
- Public Health and Epidemiology
- Religion
You can access the content from the home page of Oxford Scholarship Online or by running a subject search on Quicksearch for ‘Oxford Scholarship Online’. Doing the latter search will give you more detail of the resources available within the main topics, for example the Psychology section features all titles from the Oxford Psychology Series. It also includes other titles in the core areas of cognitive research, such as cognitive development, developmental neuroscience, affect and emotion, perception, memory, attention, social cognition/social neuroscience, behavioral neuroendocrinology, cognitive models and architectures, ethology and comparative cognition, behavioral genetics, and cognitive engineering/human-technology interaction.
There’s a short video available that both shows the resource and lets you hear what academic staff and librarians at other universities think of it.
We have access to this content until the 31st August. Access to this content is direct if you are on campus but you will need your GUID to access from off campus. If you find this resource useful for your dissertation this summer or you would like to recommend material from it to your students we’d like to hear from you. Feedback can be directed to Eresources@lib.gla.ac.uk or to your College Librarian.
