Today is Commemoration Day, the day when the University celebrates the foundation of the University in 1451, thanks the many benefactors whose gifts have supported the development of the University, and remembers those whose names are recorded on the Memorial Panels in the University Chapel – our First and Second World War Rolls of Honour.
To join in the celebrations, today we are launching Graduates – 1912 on the University Story. The names of the 410 graduates of 1912 have been added, making a grand total of over 18,000 graduates available to search and discover. Over graduation season we’ll be highlighting particular individuals – but for today here’s a picture of some of the female 1912 MA graduates at the Lion and Unicorn staircase.
