On Channel 4 at 9pm tonight there is a documentary about Cosmo Lang, the Glasgow Graduate who became Archbishop of Canterbury at the time of King Edward VIII’s abdication.

Cosmo Lang first matriculated to study at the University of Glasgow at the tender age of fourteen and graduated MA in 1884.
