1,787 valid surveys were submitted, gaving us a very representative sample of the University community. The purpose of this survey, known as LibQUAL+, is to measure perceptions and expectations of our users, so that we can provide the services you need and expect.
The valid surveys completed by 1,050 undergraduate students, 523 postgraduate students, 214 University Staff members are now being analysed and the results will be published as soon as the analysis is completed.
In addition to the quantitative data, over 800 respondents added lots of informative comments, which are equally valuable to us in assessing our services.
Everyone who completed a survey was potentially eligible for the prize draw for one of three £50 vouchers donated by John Smith’s Bookshop.
Congratulations to the winners: Professor Trevor Stone (Neuroscience & Psychology Research Institute), Ashlee Chapman (School of Veterinary Medicine) and Siong Chiong Ting (School of Engineering).
