This lunchtime I was in the Hunterian Museum giving the Hunterian Insight talk. I was talking about the Stoddard-Templeton Archive, which is full of fantastic resources from the world’s leading carpet manufacturers. I was showing off some of our design sketches – including some by Mary Quant, our chenille fabric sample, and a Templetonian (staff magazine) from the 1960s.
If you missed it and would like to know more about the Archive, why not come along to our open afternoon on Thursday, 19th April. Full details are available here. Book to hear talks from some users of the Archive, or just pop in between 3pm and 4pm.
The Hunterian Insight talks are every Tuesday at 1pm, for about 10 minutes, in a Hunterian venue. Find out more here.
