We’ve given our current foyer display in Special Collections a festive twist.
Continuing the Cooking up a Story theme of edible and chemical recipes, items include the University Laboratory Christmas Annual from 1869 and the book of a Victorian ’masque’ featuring the characters of Mince-Pie and Plum-Pudding.
You can also still see a 17th century alchemical manuscript and John Bate’s Mysteries of Nature and Art (1635).
