Friday Gem from the Stoddard-Templeton Design Archive: Peacocks Parade & Safari Park

Today I’m highlighting two of my (very many) favourite items from the design archive.  These small painted boards were among the first items that caught my eye when I started working with the collection over four years ago and they still grab my attention.  I don’t quite know if I would want to walk across these patterns on a carpet, but the boards certainly make me smile every time I see them.

Enjoy!

  1. Very interesting – I think they would look good as a tapestry, but like you I’m not sure I’d want them as a carpet!
