We now have 8 group study rooms in the library. Small groups can also meet at the tables on Level 3 for quiet discussion or over coffee and tea in the pods or red booths in the Level 3 social learning space.
On level 4 rooms 4B and 4C have been enlarged to allow up to ten people to meet in them at any one time. Room 4D is the new room and holds up to 8 people. The new room has 8 tub chairs with writing platforms rather than a large table and chairs so can be used in different ways to the other rooms.
Advance booking of the rooms isn’t always needed but it is advisable as they are popular. To book you need to physically go to the Library Services desk on Level 2 with your student card. once you’ve made a booking you’ll be given a receipt with full details of the booking on it. You can book from 1 to 3 hours per day for any one group.
We don’t take bookings over the phone or electronically at the moment.
