The University Library is home to the largest European Documentation Centre in the west of Scotland. A European Documentation Centre (EDC) can help you find official documents, research and statistics produced by the European Union.
From economics to engineering, there are freely available print and electronic resources on any subject.
Staff of the EDC can help you in finding..
- Full text of cases on competition law, company law, employment and environment law
- Statistics on European finance, public health, social affairs, crime, transport and many other subject areas
- EU legislation (such as directives and regulations)
- Reports and studies commissioned by the European Union
..and much more. The University of Glasgow EDC provides support for academic research in every field of scientific, cultural and legislative study.
You can find the EDC on level 7 of the University Library. An enquiry service is available from Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.
Staff and students from other universities and colleges, as well as members of the public, can make use of the EDC and its resources.
Visit the centre in person or contact us by phone, post or email.
