We have been given trial access to a collection of core medical and nursing textbooks published by Elsevier. These Elsevier Etextbooks can be found at http://www.elsevie
r-etextbooks.com.
If you are on campus at a University computer you should be able to open the e-books in full text without needing any passwords. If you are off campus or using your laptop on a wireless network you will need to download and install the University’s VPN software, there’s lots of information on how to do this on the IT Services VPN web pages
The trial lasts until the 1st of December.
We’re keen to receive feedback on these e-books at http://www.lib.gla.ac.uk/services/library/contactus/forms/trialresourcesfeedbackform so please drop us a note telling us what you think. Should we try to buy these e-versions or are you happy with the paper copies?

Hi Pauliina – I’ve had a look and provided some help within the post on how to access the e-books, I hope that helps. If you still can’t access them let us know via the feedback form along with your contact details and we’ll try to sort out access for you if we can.
