We are happy to announce that the brand new Special Collections website should be going live in the next few days, ready for the new University semester.
There may be a little disruption for the first few days and some services (such as the “search our site”) will not be working initially. We will be working hard behind the scenes to make sure that it is all running smoothly as quickly as possible. The current home page address http://special.lib.gla.ac.uk/ will still find us, but please note that some sections of the site will be located at new URLs so if you have bookmarked any of the pages in the current site, these may have to be updated.
We are looking forward to seeing what you think about it, and will be running some user testing in the first few weeks after going live to get some feedback. In the meantime, watch this space!
