The header image this summer has been made available due to the generosity of Gordon Cunningham, its copyright holder. The image was taken on the 11th May 2009 and shows the trees, in one of the University’s many green spaces, in full bloom. Gordon has a whole set of images of the university, available from his Flickr account.
All trees on the University’s campuses are protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPO) and you can see the results of a survey of them on our website.
The complete image, from which the header extract is taken, can be seen below. On the header extract the coloured glass wall of the Fraser building is visible on the right hand side.
