Climate change: the Copenhagen conference – House of Commons Research Paper 09/87 -paper examines recent

The aim of the conference is to reach an agreement on a successor to the Kyoto Protocol that will ensure global reductions in greenhouse gas emissions beyond 2012.

Tackling health inequalities: 2006-08 policy and data update for the 2010 national target – Dept Health – an update on progress to meet the health inequalities national target to reduce the gap as measured by infant mortality and life expectancy, by 10% by 2010. It includes an assessment of whether the 70 spearhead area local authorities, which map to 62 PCTs, are on track to meet the life expectancy target.
The work of the UK Border Agency – HC Home Affairs Committee [HC 105] – report expresses its regrets that case registrations at the UK Border Agency ever became “so chaotic” and hopes that the new model for case handling will enable UKBA to resolve historic problems – and cases – and show that it is working as it should.
