Kenny Whyte and the IT Services team have recently installed a patch for Reference Manager 10 on a number of CSCE machines in the Library. This patch fixes problems with the “Direct Export” and “Import Filters” features. The patched machines are 3S069-3S086 on the long row between the Enquiries Desk and the Student IT Helpdesk on Level 3.
Before using Word for the first time, go to “Start”->”Utilities” and click the shortcut for “Cite While You Write”; the CWYW toolbar should then appear in Word as normal. There is also a link to open Reference Manager directly in the “Utilities” folder.
During the summer Kenny and the team will roll out a new version of the CSCE to all PCs, after which, Reference Manager will work properly on all machines.
